Stupid Or Darkness At It Very Core

Humans have a dominating yet faint desire to see people fail. That desire has evolved to the extent that people sometimes don’t enjoy their success if their mates don’t fail. The fact that others succeed while they succeed is not enough for them. A bad example of this is when people prefer to lose a little of their success intentionally to make the other fail.

There is yet another desire to take malicious delight in the misfortune of others. We knew it was an ugly side of human nature. Science explains the process as a physiological medical phenomenon. When we see other people fail, it sometimes causes a chemical to be released to the dorsal striatum of the brain, which causes us to feel pleasure; this concept is called Schadenfreude, a german origin of Schaden and Freude which means damage and joy.

Now I am sure you have heard about this quote; “When you in one day do something good for a dog it would remember for ten years, but when you do a good thing for a human for ten years he and so as not to be gender bias or she forgets in one day.”

It is not only a fact in art but also in science that humans hold on to the bad of a person. A friend of mine once talked about the fact that why is it that when he does something he is not particularly proud of, certain people are like; “so this is your true behavior” And a question we should ask ourselves is that why does the bad has to be the truth? Is this truly the level of our reasoning? Celebrities make one mistake we say they “are canceled.” We, the so-called determinant of good behavior, are we good? Can we deep down say we are good?

We figured since Thomas Reid said, “a chain is no stronger than its weakest link.” we can act like a human is as good as their worse deed. It shouldn’t be a surprise that people do make mistakes. Should they be defined by a mistake they made? are they their mistake?

I personally think it is evil to hold on to the bad of people and that using it as a determinate in their relationship with other people or as a baseline on who they are and what they are capable of is extremely stupid because if not, then it is darkness at its very core. And that, I am scared of accepting.
