Robbers Of The Modern Society
You already know who I am talking about, the ones who steal without repercussion. They don’t use guns or knives yet they are armed.
These conglomerates, evil conglomerates I mean, take from us like it is theirs. Without further ado, I introduce to you, Mr Bank.
15% of whatever you have with them, they give to you per year, a bonus you get from them for not touching your own money, forgive me for the redundancy, it is also what you give to them when you borrow their own money, only that you pay your 15% to them on a monthly bases.
Bank is the monster we created, the bureaucratic price for the modern industrious world we live in.
Sadly the monster has grown bigger, they take advantage of the poor, made people homeless, and made many, efficient slaves to the system, among other things of course.
Their maintainers’ fees, their VAT, their long sentences of terms and conditions they know we wouldn’t read, and even if we do read it, what can we do?
Like my friend in finance would remind me as often as I argued the unimportance of banking as a course of study, that if the banking sector collapses the world would be drastically affected, although he shouted it in meaner words but that didn’t make him wrong.
Banks are the reason we can send money to people far away, they are the reason for efficiency in our businesses, they are the reason why we don’t have to keep our money unsafe, the bank is the fuel running the wheel of modern society, the bank might be a monster but it is a monster we created.
As much as they made life easier, they took their dues then they stole some more from us, they are the robbers of modern society.
