Be A Living Sacrifice

Present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God. To fathom what it means to be a living sacrifice, one must understand how sacrifices work.

Fire came down on Elijah's sacrifice; sacrifices attract God's fire. If you need God's fire in you, then you need to be a living sacrifice.

God's fire is not dangerous to his children, they make his children burn for him. Even in Nebuchadnezzar's burning fiery furnace, God protected Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego.
The lions could not devour Daniel, because he is the son of the lion of the tribe of Judah, which makes him a lion, lions don't eat lions and fire doesn't consume fire, or have you forgotten that the lord your God is a consuming fire?

God's fire consumes the things that are not of God, the things that will not be consumed are the fireproof things, and the fireproof things are the things that are of God.

There are requirements for being a living sacrifice.
In the first recorded sacrifice in the Bible; Abel brought the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. Firstling is of the highest significance.
Sacrifice means to give up something of value, inconveniencing yourself for a cause. If it is not painful, it is not a sacrifice.

An unclean animal should not be sacrificed; to be a living sacrifice you have to be clean. An animal with blemish should not be sacrificed, God doesn't want an animal with a defect; sin can be a defect in a potential living sacrifice, which will not be acceptable before God.

Live like the temple of God is inside you; because it is. God will not live in you with evil things inside of you.

You have to sacrifice some behaviours, habits, goals, careers, and many more. You have to live differently, you have to do away with the things of the world.

It is raining, and the sun is hot, yet you are going to the gathering of God because you know it is not meant to be easy, it is a sacrifice.
